Unity C# programmer for online sandbox game Ylands. Developing gameplay systems, UI architecture, UX design, plugins and unity tools. Including mobile-oriented development, online networking, and UGC integrations.

Responsibilities

  • General technical bug fixing tasks across various facets; gameplay, UI, backend communication, and user generated content. Working closely in collaboration with the QA team to resolve issues on time.
  • Collaborated on the visual scripting feature, i.e. exposing existing gameplay functionalities on various in-game objects for visual scripting compatibility.
  • Responsible for integrating the WeGame framework into the game client, along with accompanying gameplay, UI, and data features specific for the WeGame/Chinese release. Handled communication and support with WeGame/Tencent support staff.
